HYDERABADBondada Engineering is acquiring a 75% ownership interest in defence and aerospace technology-focused engineering firm KCS Engineering Solutions.Announcing that subsidiary Bondada Dynamics (BDPL) has entered into a Business Acquisition Agreement, the parent company on Thursday said the acquisition marks Bondada Group’s entry into the high-growth defence and aerospace sector, reinforcing its commitment to building advanced indigenous technology capabilities. It will strengthen its portfolio beyond renewable energy, telecom infrastructure, EPC and digital infrastructure, the company said.KCS Engineering Solutions, which is to be renamed BKCS Technologies and converted into private limited company, is engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing, testing and integration of electronic and electro-mechanical solutions for defence, aerospace and allied applications. It has built strong technical capabilities through its engagement with premier organisations, including DRDO, ISRO, Bharat Electronics (BEL), Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL), Bharat Dynamics (BDL), NTRO, and the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force, Bondada said.BKCS Technologies will operate as a subsidiary of Bondada Dynamics.Bondada Group CMD Bondada Raghavendra Rao said, “The defence and aerospace sector represents a significant growth opportunity... backed by strong policy support and increasing investments in indigenous capabilities.
