KADUNA — The North-West chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans to embark on a strategic tour of the seven states in the region to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The decision was reached at a meeting of the party’s zonal leadership held at the APC North-West Zonal Headquarters in Kaduna, where members reviewed the political situation in the region and outlined strategies aimed at strengthening the party ahead of the polls.
The meeting was chaired by the APC North-West Zonal Secretary, Hon. Isah Sadiq Achida, in the absence of the National Vice Chairman for the zone, Hon. Garba Mohammed Datti, who was said to be on official assignment.
In a statement issued by the APC North-West Zonal Publicity Secretary, Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada, the party described the North-West as a strategic region, noting that it played a significant role in President Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election.
