MANILA, Philippines — Brazilian beef exports to the Philippines may reach 80,000 to 96,000 metric tons this year, matching 2025 levels, the Brazilian Association of Meat Exporting Industries (Abiec) said.

At the sidelines of Wofex Manila, the group cited economic growth, stronger purchasing power and rising beef consumption among younger consumers. “The young people consume more beef,” ABIEC Strategic Affairs Director Julio Ramos told reporters, adding that consumers have greater purchasing power.
