EVERSION Technologies has raised €2.3 million in a Seed II round to grow its corrective insole technology.
German insurers already cover the product, giving the startup a rare early advantage in the medtech field.
With this round, led by Kammerer Holding and Kreissparkasse Biberach, EVERSION now has more than 1,500 customers.
Julia Zimmermann spent years trying to find out why she had hip pain, only to learn it was caused by her shoes. Her search brought her to orthopaedic master shoemaker Wolfgang Triebstein. Together, they started EVERSION Technologies, a medtech startup in the German city of Konstanz that just raised €2.3 million in a Seed II round led by Kammerer Holding and the Chancenkapitalfonds der Kreissparkasse Biberach.
“I know from my own experience how hip pain can take over daily life. It means so much to me that we can help so many people with our solution,” says Zimmermann, co-founder and CEO of EVERSION.
