The spotlight shifts from the stage to the recording studio as the countdown to the 32nd South African Music Awards (SAMA32) gathers momentum with one of the ceremony's most prestigious honours - Best Produced Album.

Battling for the coveted award are Ingoma Busuku by Paras "Sibalukhulu" Dlamini, produced by Nduduzo Makhathini; Less Trouble by Shekhinah, produced by Shekhinah, Rudolph Willemse, imnotgoofy, Mzizi, Gregory Abrahams, Iam6teen, Brendon-Lee Earl Johnson and Master A Flat; Sacred Cycle by MauritzLotz, self-produced by the acclaimed guitarist; Therapy: The Other Side by Langa Mavuso, produced by an accomplished collective including Darren Blackansee, Simphiwe Mashinini, Ndumiso Manana, Ndabo Zulu, Christer Kobedi, Civil Motha, Unako Chabeli, Langa Mavuso, Jabulani Nkabinde, LindelaniLee, Seragi Thantsha, Mnqobi Bayanda Nxumalo, Zooci, Jonathan Takyi Mensah and Onkabetse John Hlongwane; and ZINZA by Banda Banda, produced by Banda Banda.
