New Delhi: Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday said India is transitioning from a services-led economy to a global product manufacturing hub, backed by government schemes that have already created 36,000 jobs and driven significant exports.Speaking at the theme launch of the 10th edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC), scheduled for October 7-10 in New Delhi, Scindia said India must look beyond its domestic market and focus on taking its innovations, technologies and standards to the world. "We just took a review two days ago of the Bharat 6G Alliance. Seven working groups are contributing across different verticals, and together they will help position India in the global 6G standards framework," he said.Minister of State for Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani said India had "lost the bus" on 4G deployment but was determined to play a leading role in shaping global 6G standards.
