Dynapack International Technology Corp (順達) expects revenue in the second half of this year to grow by a double-digit percentage from NT$6.84 billion (US$211.3 million) in the first half, driven by robust demand for backup battery units (BBUs), company president Chang Chung-hsing (張崇興) said yesterday.The company makes lithium battery packs for notebook computers and BBUs for servers powered by Nvidia Corp chips. BBUs are integrated with server racks and are essential for uninterrupted operations for data centers.Demand for BBUs and order visibility for the second half remain solid, and the company expects to begin shipments to a new cloud service customer in the fourth quarter, Chang said at an earnings conference.
