Chennai-based Redington reported its highest ever quarterly net profit of ₹486 crore for the first quarter ended June 2026, up 77 per cent from ₹275 crore posted in the same quarter last year.Revenue from operations for the quarter went up 34.5 per cent year-on-year to ₹34,922 crore. The performance was broad-based across Redington’s businesses and key operating markets. India market saw revenue increasing 63%, while profit after tax rose 60% year-on-year. Growth was supported by the execution of large enterprise deals, higher PC realisations amid industry-wide memory supply constraints, continued premiumisation in mobility, and sustained demand across cloud and cybersecurity, the company said in a media release.As for the company’s various segments, Software Solutions Group (SSG) grew 52% year-on-year, while End Point Solutions Group (ESG) grew 35% year-on-year. Mobility Solutions Group (MSG) grew 21% year-on-year led by premium smartphone demand, and Technology Solutions Group (TSG) grew 50% year-on-year, driven by large enterprise deals and demand for infrastructure-led solutions.“We have started FY27 on a strong note, delivering our highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit t growth significantly outpaced revenue growth, reinforcing our continued focus on profitable and sustainable growth.
