Chennai-based Refex Industries has nearly doubled its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at ₹94 crore for the quarter ending March 2026, as against ₹48 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations went up 54 per cent to ₹936 crore (₹610 crore). For FY26, PAT stood at ₹204 crore (₹158 crore). Revenue from operations stayed flat at ₹2,302 crore (₹2,309 crore).While the company’s ash and coal handling business had recorded a profit before interest and tax (PBIT) of ₹140 crore, the green mobility and power trading segments were in the red. Other major segments like solar and wind posted PBIT of ₹17 crore and ₹1 crore respectively. The board of Refex Industries has also recommended a dividend of ₹1 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders.Published on May 26, 2026
