MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) on Wednesday said it was looking for 2,504 new Fire Officer 1 recruits this year.
In a statement, the bureau explained that the new recruits would be divided into three specialized tracks: fire suppression, technical rescue and emergency medical services.
The divisions, the BFP further noted, were due to Republic Act No. 11589 or the BFP Modernization Act.
