He was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, the force said.Officers arrested a man and a woman at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Birmingham Live reports.The pair were also taken to hospital for checks following the crash, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said. Now police are asking for anyone with information about the crash to contact them as soon as possible.In a statement, the force said: "We’re appealing for information following a serious collision in Birmingham earlier this evening."We were called to Masshouse Lane at the junction of Shannon Road in Kings Norton at around 5.55pm to reports of a two-car collision.
