A 16-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being shot.Police were called to Bowyer Road in Birmingham just before 5.30pm on Wednesday.There they found a teenager with potentially life-threatening gunshot wounds, near the junction with St Saviours Road.West Midlands Police remained at the scene on Wednesday evening while the investigation got underway, but no arrests have been made.A forensics team visited the road, while officers scoured CCTV and spoke to people in the area.The force said: 'We understand this is extremely worrying for people in the area, and local officers will be remaining there to speak to anyone with concerns.'Anyone with information or footage from the area is urged to get in touch, either by calling 101 or speaking via Live Chat on its website quoting log 4638 of 1 July.They are particularly keen to talk to anyone who may have dashcam or doorbell footage.You can also speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
