Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the momentum in the war has shifted away from Russian President Vladimir Putin, arguing that Russia is suffering heavy battlefield losses while continuing its offensive.
In an interview with Fox News during his visit to Washington, Zelenskyy said Russia is losing around 30,000 soldiers each month, but claimed the Kremlin remains unwilling to end the war.
"Putin is losing 30,000 of his soldiers every month. These are enormous losses, but he does not want to stop this war," Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian leader visited the White House for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump and also attended the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, a longtime supporter of Ukraine.
