TOKİ housing output reaches 1.76 million units
Türkiye’s state housing agency has built more than 1.75 million homes nationwide, 91 percent of which were classified as social housing, according to a government report.
The Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) had constructed 1,758,426 homes and 67,061 social facilities across all 81 provinces by March 2026, the Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ministry’s 2025 General Activity Report for Local Administrations showed.
The projects, with an updated tender value of about 6.14 trillion Turkish Liras, have capacity for around 5 million residents, the report said.
TOKİ delivered 124,034 homes in 2025, comprising 58,561 social housing units and 65,473 homes in earthquake-hit areas.
