A Russian Shahed drone hit a five-story residential building in Kharkiv, injuring five people.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

"The number of people injured in the Novobavarskyi district as a result of the enemy UAV strike has risen to five," the statement said.

Earlier, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported that a Shahed-type jet-powered UAV had struck a five-story residential building, causing the roof to catch fire.

As of 17:44, two people were known to have been injured.
