A Russian drone struck a 24-story residential building in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, causing fires and damage to the building’s walls.

According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported the strike on Telegram.

“An impact on a residential building has been recorded in the Darnytskyi district. Information about casualties is being clarified. Emergency services are heading to the scene,” the administration said.

Later, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko clarified that a Russian drone had struck a 24-story residential building, causing a fire and damage to the walls.

In the Darnytskyi district, a UAV struck a 24-story residential building at the level of the 11th and 12th floors. A fire broke out and walls were damaged on the 12th floor,” Klitschko said.
