Tests of anti-drone nets were conducted in Zaporizhzhia. Following the tests, it was decided to reinforce the structures.
According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, announced this during a briefing.
“We conducted tests of anti-drone nets at the testing ground. We have identified a more robust design that can provide more reliable protection for public, private transport, and civilians. We will continue to refine the anti-drone structures and make them more robust. Stronger structures are heavier and therefore more vulnerable to weather conditions. We believe we have found the ‘golden mean’ and will begin to refine the designs,” said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
According to Fedorov, metal nets will be used in the city and region to cover particularly critical sections of roads, including bridge crossings, checkpoints, and several stretches where reliable protection is critical.
