In the Zaporizhzhia region, rescue workers came under attack by Russian forces while extinguishing a fire in a forest; four rescuers were injured.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this.

“While extinguishing a fire in an open area of one of the region’s forest districts, the enemy launched a drone strike against firefighters who were performing their duties,” the statement reads.

According to the State Emergency Service, four rescuers were injured as a result of the attack; all of them suffered post-concussion syndrome.

Additionally, two individuals suffered minor shrapnel wounds: One emergency responder was injured in the arms, and the other in the neck.
