EXCLUSIVE: Junior and Princess Andre talk about having each other’s backs and the advice that keeps them grounded09:42, 28 Jul 2026They grew up surrounded by cameras and the fanfare of their celebrity parents Katie Price and Peter Andre, so it was almost inevitable that Princess and Junior Andre would pursue the spotlight.‌But Princess, 19, seems almost bewildered by how beloved she and her brother are. This week, the third series of her reality show, The Princess Diaries , airs and speaking at an ITV event celebrating the show, she says, “I really liked the idea of cameras following me around because I don’t think my life is that interesting. But people seem to be interested.”‌That they certainly are! The first series was streamed by 6.4 million viewers, and Junior, 21, who features heavily in the show, adds, “That’s where we started really. We don’t know any different.”‌Millions of people across the UK witnessed their parents Peter and Katie fall in love while on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.In their five years together, they appeared in many TV shows, including Jordan & Peter: Marriage And Mayhem and Katie & Peter: The Baby Diaries , which followed the births Junior and Princess. As children they went on to star in both parents’ spin off shows.‌But it wasn’t always easy, and having famous parents comes with its challenges. Junior tells OK !, “It’s always going to be hard, but we’re staying true to ourselves. We’re following our dreams and ambitions. We’re still carving out our careers now.”Princess agrees, “The thing is, you’re always going to get compared to your parents because that’s where children come from. But as we’ve got older, we’ve just kind of done our thing anyway.”Princess and Junior recently broke down when speaking about their mum’s historic drug use for the first time in Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide. At the time, Junior left home and moved in with his dad, calling it the “most difficult time” of his life.‌“When she wasn’t in the right headspace, she wasn’t being a mum,” he said on the show. “She wasn’t being the mum I knew from when I was a little boy.”Though Junior now lives with his girlfriend Jasmine, and Princess lives with Peter and his wife Emily, they both have a strong relationship with their mum, as will be evident in the third series of The Princess Diaries .‌Junior is a regular on the show, as was Peter in series one, but Katie is set to make her first appearance on her daughter’s series this week.“There’s a lot that’s happened that’s really exciting, our family’s going to be in it,” Princess teases. “It is way more fun for me to have them in the show because I like having my family there.”When the series first came out, there was speculation that Katie wasn’t on it because of the feud between her and Peter. They had been fighting on and off since their divorce, but they put all that to bed in February 2026, releasing a statement about how it was for the sake of their children.‌Junior says the show is proof of that. “It just solidifies the truth that came out and shows people that they are calm, you know? That yes, they’re not best friends, but they don’t need to be,” he says.Despite their unconventional start in life, the family feuds and all the TV shows, Junior and Princess are closer than ever and share a unique bond, though that wasn’t always the case.‌“We used to hate each other,” Princess laughs. “But as you get older, you get to the point where you’re like, ‘Why are we arguing over such small stuff?’”Junior says they’ve both matured and get on really well now. He likes to tell Princess that she’s “amazing” and even lets her test her new lipgloss on him.Princess says she relies on her brother and always goes to him for advice. She even wants to date someone like him. She shares, “If I was looking for a partner, I’d want them to have the same qualities as my dad and Junior.”‌The siblings are also extremely close to their elder brother Harvey, who has Prader-Willi Syndrome. In one episode of their new series, Princess and Junior take Harvey out for the day. Those who watched an early screening of the episode gushed over the beautiful moment. When not filming, Princess is busy launching a make-up brand, while Junior has previously worked for Transport for London to help fund his music career and is set to release some new songs later this year. One thing that’s clear from their show is that the pair are incredibly grounded. Princess says it’s all thanks to advice she received from her parents. “‘Always be humble, and don’t let people’s negative comments bring you down.’ They’ve always taught us that you can achieve everything you want to achieve,” she says.Article continues belowIt probably helps that while their mum is on husband number four, they’ve had a stable upbringing with dad Peter and step-mum Emily.“We’ve got each other,” Princess smiles. “We’ve got a big family. We love each other, and we’re supportive. So, we just stay by each other’s side, uplift each other and just keep each other motivated.”Like this story?
