The Nigerian government's amended criminal charge against Abuja-based estate developer Richard John Idakwogi of Rychado Homes Limited has contradicted his public denial that he sold a disputed plot of land in Guzape, Abuja, to businesswoman Rebecca Omokamo Godwin-Isaac, according to court documents and claims made by the buyer.
Rebecca told SaharaReporters that Idakwogi personally sold her Plot 4022, A09, Guzape District, Abuja, introduced her to the surveyor who identified the property, took her to indigenous representatives connected to the land, facilitated documentation for the transaction and later admitted the sale during a meeting attended by top officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The dispute centres on Charge No. CR/100/2025, pending before the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory.
