The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned the Chief Executive Officer of Blackrock Apartments & Suites Limited, Aminu Datti Ahmed, before the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Jabi, Abuja, over an alleged N15m fraud.

PUNCH Metro learnt this from an official statement released on the EFCC’s X account on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

According to the anti-graft agency, Ahmed was arraigned before Justice M.S. Idris by the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the EFCC on a one-count charge bordering on alleged misappropriation of funds.

The EFCC alleged that the defendant converted N15m, which was mistakenly credited to his Taj Bank account instead of Braverock Investment Limited, a firm expected to receive the funds as part of scheduled payments for a property acquisition.

The charge read, “That you, Aminu Datti Ahmed and Blackrock Apartments & Suites Limited, sometime in 2025 at Abuja within the jurisdiction of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, dishonestly converted to your personal use the sum of N15,000,000.00, which was mistakenly credited to the Taj Bank account with account No. 0000251807 belonging to Aminu Datti Ahmed.”
