SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur – The Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) has deployed 2,913 personnel across the Caraga region as part of security measures for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s fifth State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday in Quezon City, Metro Manila.
There have been no anti-SONA rallies held in urban areas in Caraga Region, including the cities of Butuan, Surigao, Bayugan, Cabadbaran, Bislig and Tandag.
.PRO 13 said police officers were assigned to checkpoints, traffic and route security, patrol operations, quick-response teams, medical units and civil disturbance management contingents.
Other support units were also strategically positioned across the region to maintain peace and order and respond to possible security incidents during the Sona.
