CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office (OrMin PPO) has heightened security measures across the province ahead of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday, July 27.

In a statement, the police office said provincial director Col. Edison Revita ordered all units to intensify security operations to ensure public safety, peace, and order before, during, and after the president’s annual address.

The directive includes increased police visibility in key areas, intensified intelligence monitoring, and closer coordination with various stakeholders to prepare for any security concerns related to the Sona.
