Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), Advocate Andrea Johnson, has returned to the Madlanga Commission on Monday.
Despite President Cyril Ramaphosa accepting her immediate resignation, the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head, Advocate Andrea Johnson, has returned to the Madlanga Commission.
This will be her fourth day in the commission.
The Presidency confirmed on Monday that Ramaphosa had accepted Johnson's request to vacate office with immediate effect under Section 12(8)(a) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act.
Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya said the President's decision followed a recommendation by Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, backed by National Director of Public Prosecutions Shamila Batohi's acting successor, Rodney de Kock Mothibi.
