Ndimande brothers Siyabonga Gezani and Malusi Dave Ndimande to appear in the Durban High Court for the murder of taxi owner William Kunene.
The infamous Ndimande brothers, together with one of their co-accused in the murder case of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, are set to appear for a pre-trial conference in a separate murder case relating to the fatal shooting of a taxi boss at Seadoone Mall in Amanzimtoti.
Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, the first accused in the AKA matter, Philani Innocent Sikhosana, and brothers Siyabonga Gezani and Malusi Dave Ndimande are accused of conspiring with other unknown persons to murder William Kunene in November 2022.
Kunene was a taxi owner and a member of the Folweni, Adams and Stanger Taxi Association.
According to the State, the accused became aware that Kunene would be shopping at the Checkers store at Seadoone Mall on November 9, 2022. Unaware that his movements were allegedly being monitored, Kunene completed his shopping and walked to his vehicle in the parking area.
