Durban court hears case against seven men accused of killing AKA and Tibz

All seven suspects implicated in the murder of AKA and Tibz are appearing in a Durban court on Thursday.

The seven men accused of the murder of Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and Tebello 'Tibz' Motsoane are due to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

It is the first time all of the accused are appearing together before the court.

Initially, five accused, Lindokuhle Thabani Mkhwanazi, Lindani Zenzele Ndimande, Siyanda Eddie Myeza, Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni and Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande, have been appearing in court since their arrest, while two others, Siyabonga Gezani Ndimande and Malusi Dave Ndimande, were extradited and officially returned to South Africa last year.

The men are accused of killing Forbes and Motsoane in a brazen attack outside a Durban restaurant in February 2023.
