An inquest into the death of a 14-year-old boy in a drive-by shooting in east London has found that his killing was unlawful.
Corey Junior Davis was shot in a playground in 2017. His killer remains at large. His family say he had been groomed by drug gangs and was failed by the authorities.
A coroner’s court has said that, while there were failings from multiple agencies in the year leading up to his death, it’s impossible to say whether they directly caused it.
