A seven-year-old Class II student was killed after falling from an autorickshaw and being run over by a lorry at Pulparamba near Mukkom in Kozhikode on Friday (July 24).The victim, Amal, a student of Government School, Manassery, was returning home from school in an autorickshaw along with other students when the vehicle’s door reportedly opened accidentally. He fell onto the road, and a lorry travelling immediately behind the autorickshaw ran over him.The child suffered fatal head injuries and died on the spot, the police said.
