Seven car passengers, including three children, sustained grave injuries in a road accident at Ramanattukara in Kozhikode district on Sunday (October 5, 2025). Police sources said the speeding car was hitting the rear side of a parked tourist bus along the road.
The accident took place around 11 a.m. when they were coming back to their home at Kakkur after picking a family member from the Kozhikode International Airport. The front portion of the car was destroyed completely in the impact of the collision.

According to police sources, the driver was rescued from the accident spot in a very critical condition. All the injured were admitted to the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital, they said.
