—Coffee Fest Sonidero. Free entry festival on 26 July at the Museo Regional de Cholula, featuring 15 specialty coffee bars and sonidero music.

—Puebla en Nogada Festival. Runs from 23 July at Parque Soria, San Pedro Cholula, with around 10 traditional cooks, plus producers, artisans and historians; organisers expect some 15,000 visitors.

—World Record Attempt. On 26 July, cooks will prepare an 8-ton chile en nogada and give away 6,000 free servings.
