The Public Relations Office of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated on Friday, July 24, that it had launched drone strikes targeting installations in Bahrain and Jordan.
In its statement, the military claimed that a drone attack on Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain struck fuel tanks, storage warehouses, equipment hangars, and U.S. military personnel quarters. The Iranian Army further claimed that it targeted Muwaffaq Salti Air Base (Al-Azraq) in Jordan, striking aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and U.S. troop housing.
Concurrently, the Associated Press reported that, following the sounding of air raid sirens in Bahrain, local authorities advised citizens to seek shelter in secure locations in the event of explosions or fires. The warnings came hours after U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the conclusion of its 13th consecutive night of military strikes on targets inside Iran.
As of the time of publication, officials from Bahrain, Jordan, and the U.S. military had not released details regarding potential casualties or the extent of the damage caused by the alleged strikes.
