Developer Mudiita Infra is eyeing a 930-acre data center in Ransom Township, Pennsylvania.

Local media reported that Mudiita Land Venture, a subsidiary of Mudiita Group and an affiliate of Mudiita Infra, bought 530 acres of land south of Ransom Road and west of South Keyser Avenue from property holding company KF Real Estate for $2.4 million, according to a deed recorded with Lackawanna County on Monday July 20.

Mudiita Infra’s website states that it is looking to develop a 930-acre data center in Lackawanna County, almost double the size of the parcel it bought earlier this week. The website also says that construction would occur in phases, and that the data center would provide 750MW of capacity.

It also says that the campus would use a BESS and solar infrastructure, and that it would not be dependent on gas.
