Details have emerged about AI cloud Nebius’ plans to develop a large data center in Pennsylvania.
Announced this month, the Nasdaq-listed company is developing a campus in Butler Township, Pennsylvania, within Schuylkill County’s Highridge Business Park, some 55 miles (89 kms) west of Allentown.

Located at the intersection of Interstate 81 and Gordon Mountain Road in Highridge Business Park, the purpose-built campus will be fully owned and operated by Nebius.
The site will span ~600 acres and deliver 1.2GW of capacity upon full buildout, with an initial phase of 260MW expected to be operational by October 2027. The site could reach 660MW by 2029 and more than 1GW after that. Site plans suggest six single-story buildings are planned.
