SM Prime lines up more than 20 major events at new Cebu arena

MANILA, Philippines — SM Prime Holdings Inc. is betting on the growing demand for live entertainment, lining up more than 20 major events at its newly-launched SM Seaside Cebu Arena as it seeks to strengthen the province’s position as a key destination for concerts and other large-scale events.

The Sy-led property giant said on Thursday that the venue has already secured more than a score of shows for 2026, featuring Filipino and international performers, live productions, sports events and family entertainment.

SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim said the company aims to help Cebu capture a larger share of the live entertainment market while generating broader economic benefits for the region.
