On the night of July 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian Federation tanker in the Black Sea and a pontoon bridge in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

“On the night of July 23, 2026, as part of efforts to reduce the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important military and military-economic targets of the enemy,” the statement reads.

A tanker in the Black Sea, used to transport Russian oil, petroleum products, and fuel for the Russian Armed Forces, was struck.

A pontoon bridge near Novoeekonomichne in the Donetsk region, which Russian invaders use to support military logistics and the movement of troops and equipment, was also struck.
