Russian forces launched glide bomb strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia, hitting an apartment building and injuring at least five people.

According to Ukrinform, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Ivan Fedorov reported the attack on Telegram.

"As a result of the Russian strike on the regional center, five people have been injured," Fedorov said.

Six explosions were heard across the city. Earlier, Ukraine's Air Force had warned of glide bomb launches from the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Fedorov later reported that the strikes hit a residential building and an industrial area, with people trapped under the rubble.
