The Russian military dropped three glide bombs on the city of Zaporizhzhia at around 16:00 on July 10, one of which landed in a residential neighborhood without detonating.

Anna Tkachenko, Spokesperson for the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region, announced this in a comment to journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As of now, we know that the city was struck by three glide bombs. One of them failed to explode and remains in a residential area. Bomb disposal experts are working at the scene, while police are evacuating residents from nearby buildings," Tkachenko said.

According to her, two direct impacts have been confirmed. One glide bomb struck an administrative building, partially destroying it, and people may still be trapped under the rubble. Another bomb hit a private residential area, destroying several homes.

Tkachenko said a police officer was killed in the attack.
