The 2026 FIFA World Cup may be over, but its impact will live on among the billions of viewers who tuned in to the monthlong tournament.

The July 19 final at New York New Jersey Stadium, in which Spain defeated Argentina, drew roughly 63 million U.S. viewers across Fox and Telemundo, breaking national ratings records. The match garnered 38.9 million viewers to Fox’s English-language telecast, while Telemundo and Peacock’s Spanish-language coverage brought in 23.9 million viewers.
