New Delhi: Car market leader Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Thursday said its upcoming new version of Brezza SUV has received a 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupant protection under the Bharat NCAP crash test.The new version of the model is slated to be launched on July 24, 2026. The model has received a 5-star safety rating in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP) under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), the company said in a statement.Stating that the Brezza has been India's highest-selling compact SUV since 2016, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd MD & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi said, "This 5-star Bharat NCAP rating reinforces the confidence customers place in the vehicle. The recognition for the new Brezza reflects our relentless focus on building safer vehicles for Indian roads."The New Brezza strengthens the company's 5-star Bharat NCAP-rated vehicle portfolio, alongside the Dzire, VICTORIS, Invicto and the e-VITARA, the statement said.
