OpenAI is planning another large-scale data center in the US.
The AI lab has revealed it is set to build a data center in Effingham County, Georgia, for which it is contracting 3.2GW of power from the Georgia Power Company.

Dubbed Project Camelia, the data center will be located within the Savannah Gateway Industrial Hub, a 2,600+ acre area zoned for industrial use cases. Details about the expected number of buildings and size of the data centers have not been provided.
Reporting from Bloomberg suggests OpenAI could spend more than $30 billion on the project.
