GIGAIPC Co (技宸), Gigabyte Technology Co’s (技嘉) industrial PC subsidiary, expects strong momentum in its hospitality, point-of-sale and factory automation businesses to grow revenue this year by a high-single-digit percentage, general manager Arthur Chuang (莊再華) said yesterday. The company has secured orders equivalent to about 90 percent of last year’s revenue, Chuang said at a business presentation in Taipei. Revenue last year rose 33 percent year-on-year to NT$1.86 billion (US$57.45 million), while net profit surged 101 percent to NT$158 million. Earnings per share increased to NT$9.69 from NT$5.94 a year earlier.
