Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, 46, appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court, where extradition proceedings linked to a United Kingdom request and a separate firearm and ammunition case were postponed.
Alleged United Kingdom fugitive Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma ,46, will remain in custody after appearing before the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday in connection with extradition proceedings and a separate case involving the alleged unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), both matters were postponed to August 27, 2026, with the extradition case delayed to allow for the finalisation of documentation requested by British authorities, while the firearm and ammunition matter was postponed for further police investigations.
The NPA said Tshuma is the subject of an extradition request from the United Kingdom, where he is wanted on three counts of murder.
“According to the extradition request, Tshuma is wanted in the United Kingdom on three counts of murder. It is alleged that he murdered his wife, Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, and their two children, Natalie Tshuma and Nala Tshuma, in Bedford, Bedfordshire,” NPA spokesperson Magaboke Mohlatlole said.
