Chidimma Adetshina's lawyer has spoken out and defended her.
Stefanie de Saude-Darbandi of De Saude Darbandi Immigration Attorneys recently addressed the firm’s decision to represent the controversial beauty queen, Chidimma Adetshina, in her ongoing battle against deportation.
Saude-Darbandi defended Adetshina and went on to explain why the firm chose to provide legal assistance in the deportation case in an Instagram post.
“Not everyone likes Chidimma, but not everyone has to. Behind every headline is a real person, a real family and real legal issues that deserve to be heard fairly,” she wrote.
Saude-Darbandi further added that as a law firm, their role is to ensure that the law is applied fairly to everyone.
