Former Miss South Africa finalist and Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 Chidimma Adetshina is challenging an application by the Department of Home Affairs to deport her.
This follows her arrest in June after Home Affairs alleged she was in South Africa illegally.
The controversial beauty queen continued her legal battle after she returned to the Cape Town Regional Court on Thursday, July 16, where she was expected to file an affidavit outlining the steps she has taken to regularise her immigration status.
This affidavit is part of her effort to challenge the deportation application brought against her by the Department of Home Affairs.
