MANILA, Philippines — Two buses supposedly linked to former lawmaker Chavit Singson have been impounded by the Land Transportation Office for various violations, the agency said on Tuesday.
According to the LTO, its authorities apprehended the vehicles that were heading toward Liwasang Bonifacio last Sunday, July 19, after they noticed that they used improvised plates. A rally was held by the United People’s Initiative at the Liwasang Bonifacio on the same day.
“The two buses were immediately impounded after the investigation found out that they were not registered with improper installation of plates, and one of the buses illegally changed its color,” LTO said in a press release.
