Amazulu king Misuzulu kaZwelithini has been invited to tea with Mduduzi Shembe.
As part of reconciliation and forgiveness efforts, Baptist Nazareth Church leader Mduduzi Shembe has invited AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini for tea after the monarch reffered to him as an "idiot".
In a video clip that was leaked to the public, apparently by his queen, Nomzamo Myeni, during the couple's argument two weeks ago, the King referred to Shembe as an idiot, and accused the church leader's wife of cheating with a member of the church known as Masango.
The video clip went viral, and sparked a huge debate on social media platforms. While some sided with Myeni, others questioned her decision to take marital and royal issues to the public.
In the clip, the King appeared intoxicated, holding a green beer bottle. His behaviour drew a lot of criticism from people who said such behaviour does not befit his stature.
