As part of reconciliation and forgiveness, Baptist Nazareth Church leader Mduduzi Shembe has invited AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini for tea after the King called him an idiot.
In a video clip that was filmed and leaked to the public, apparently by his queen, Nomzamo Myeni, during their verbal argument two weeks ago, the King referred to Shembe as an idiot, accusing his wife of cheating with a member of the church known as Masango.
The video clip went viral, sparking a huge debate on social media platforms. While some sided with Myeni, others questioned her decision to take her marital and royal issues to the public.
In the clip, the King appeared intoxicated, holding a green beer bottle. His behaviour drew a lot of criticism from people who said such behaviour does not befit his stature.
