Baptist Nazareth Church leader Mduduzi Shembe has called for an end to the circulation of a viral video in which AmaZulu King Misuzulu kaZwelithini referred to him as an idiot, saying he has already forgiven the monarch.
The video clip, which was allegedly filmed and leaked to the public by Queen Nomzamo Myeni during a verbal argument with the king, sparked widespread debate after going viral on Thursday.
In the footage, the king referred to Shembe as an idiot while accusing his wife of cheating with a member of the church known as Masango.
The clip quickly ignited discussion across social media platforms. While some users sided with Myeni, others questioned her decision to take her marital and royal matters into the public domain.
