As one of South Africa's most talented boxing prospects, Gary van Staden is more than just a flashy dresser—he's promising a brutal knockout against his opponent, Nicolas Nzengu, in their Super Middleweight bout in Sandton this Saturday.
“I’m coming out with intent from round one. Expect big knockouts—that’s what the fans pay to see, and that’s what I intend to give them,” said Van Staden at the pre-fight press conference in North Riding on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old remains unbeaten, boasting two KOs in his burgeoning career. Having made his professional debut just over a year ago, Van Staden is already being touted as one of SA's top rising stars.
He will feature in the fifth fight of the evening at Knockout Chaos 2, an event organised by Aquila Boxing Promotions and led by brand ambassador Kevin Lerena. It stands out as one of the most keenly anticipated matchups on the card.
