South Africa's very own Nkosi "The King of Many Nations" Ndebele (13-3) officially introduced himself to the PFL Global League in spectacular fashion on Saturday night, delivering a dominant performance over America's Brandon Davis in Washington, D.C.
Competing at the CareFirst Arena, the 2025 PFL Africa bantamweight champion put the division on notice with a commanding 30-26 unanimous decision victory over Davis in a 140-pound catchweight contest, after his original opponent, Mando Gutierrez (11-5), withdrew due to health issues.
Although the late opponent change resulted in the bout being contested at catchweight, it did nothing to diminish the statement Ndebele made. The South African showcased exactly why he is regarded as one of Africa's brightest talents, putting the bantamweight division on alert with a composed, clinical display of mixed martial arts. His trademark precision striking, impeccable timing and fight IQ were on full display as he systematically broke Davis down over three dominant rounds.
